About Wendy...
I love caring for children. In my college years, I worked at the Wonder
Years Daycare Center and the Drake Community Center after school
program. I also worked providing customer service in a call center
environment. After I graduated, I continued customer service but found it
was not as satisfying for me as childcare. During our efforts to start our
own family, my husband, Scott, suggested starting a daycare to provide
the job satisfaction I was lacking and to satisfy my need to nurture young
children.
Together, we rearranged our home and life so that I can do what I love,
providing care and teaching young children. It has been a decision that
has enriched our lives beyond any expectations. Recently, we started our
family through the process of adopting Peyton. I truly enjoy the experience
of providing quality care as well as the opportunity to spend more time with
our daughter.
